Jonathan Reed m. 14 Oct 1790 Ruth Tay of Woburn. She m. (2) 1 Feb 1827 Jesse Deane of Burlington. She d. 11 Feb 1834.
[Note: there is no justification for the death date, nor does there seem to be a death record, and since her husband is reported dying the same year by various sources, this raises the possibility of a record-keeping error?]

  2. There is no recorded birth, and none of the secondary sources seem to identify her parents. Based on naming her son Isaiah, she is probably the daughter of Isaiah Tay and Abigail Simonds, m. Woburn 1753. Their last recorded child is son Jesse b. 1765, and based on Ruth's marriage in 1790, she probably would have been born after that. So, speculatively, she might have been born about 1767.
