Death? Est 1777

UEL sources claim she was the Ruth Hawley who married Isaac Briscoe. Ruth's brother Jephtha fought with Isaac Briscoe on the British side in Burgoyne's defeat at Saratoga, lived in the same refugee camp in Canada and later settled near each other in what is now Ontario. UEL sources say these two gentlemen were brothers-in-law.

Note the "probably" in Source 1. Jacobus does not identify the parents of the Ruth Hawley that married Abel Mix. Possibly this was a different Ruth Hawley, or her marriage to Isaac Briscoe was a second marriage.
