Ruth Mary Nowlin, 83 years old, formerly of Lawrenceburg, IN, died in Indianapolis on May, 21, 2009.
She was born in Lawrenceburg, IN on February 17, 1926. She was the daughter of the late Clifton Hannan and the late Thelma Jarrell Clifton .
She was a member of First Church of Christ of Greendale, Eastern Star, Welcome Wagon and Volunteered for Dearborn Co. Hospital.
She was a homemaker.
Surviving are her husband, Dale Nowlin, son, [Living] Nowlin, daughter, [Living] Fry, Brother, [Living] Hannan, sister, [Living] Schmeltzer, 9 grandchildren, , 10 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by father, Clifton Hannan, mother, Thelma Jarrell Clifton.
Friends will be received Tuesday, May 26, 2009 from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm at the First Church of Christ in Greendale, Indiana.
Services will be Tuesday, May 26, 2009 at 1:00 pm at the First Church of Christ in Greendale with Pastor Tim Russell officiating.
Interment will follow in the Greendale Cemetery.
Contributions may be made to the First Church of Christ of Greendale.

Funeral services for Donald G. Hannan, 72, Burlington, Ky., formerly of Lawrenceburg, will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday, April 5, 2002, at the First Church of Christ, Greendale, with burial in Greendale Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, April 4, at Fitch-Denney Funeral Home, Greendale.
Mr. Hannan died Tuesday, April 2, in Florence, Ky. He was a manufacturer’s representative and was a founding member of Lawrenceburg Fire Company No. 3, and the Dearborn Adult Center.
He is survived by his wife, [Living]; a son, [Living] Hannan, Delhi; two step-sons, [names of living individuals have been removed;] a daughter, [Living] Hawkins, Forest Park; a step-daughter, [names of living individuals have been removed;] a brother, [Living] Hannan, Vevay; two sisters, [names of living individuals have been removed;] and seven grandchildren.Memorials may be made to the Greendale or Burlington First Church of Christ."
