[Note: it is not clear why the qualifiers are used ("believed to be") as proof seems pretty conclusive based on her sister Mercy's will which names the three children born to Ephraim and Ruth. The basis for the birthdate has not been located, but based on the "believed to be", presumably the birthdate was for Ephraim's wife, as might be found in a family Bible, etc., and not a birth record.]
