The listed source is "unpublished manuscript" that may be downloaded from here. The source for the information appears to come from unpublished manuscript "Conkey Family Genealogy" by Unknown. Other that this citation, no evidence is given. None has been found (no birth record, no deed, no probate, no death record to confirm her age, etc.) The marriage record calls her Ruth Bridge of Shutesbury and it may be an assumption that she must come from this family. However, Thomas Bridge's children are recorded in Spencer and do not include a Ruth. No daughter named Ruth is shown in Thomas' family in the various Bridge Genealogies or Bond. He is said to have moved to Shutesbury about 1771.
