Fostoria -- Russell U Jones, 94, a resident of St. Catherine's Care Cente r, Fostoria, died at 11:50 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 16, 2002, at the care cent er.

He was born Dec. 15, 1907, in Fostoria to Russell and Hazel (Moore) Jone s. He married Marie Doll on Aug. 29, 1932, and she died Jan. 10, 1998.

Mr. Jones retired in 1976 as manager of OH State Liquor Store, Fostori a. He previously owned and operated Jones Recreation, Fostoria.

He was a member of Fostoria Eagles and Senior Citizens.

He attended Fostoria High School.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Harrold-Floriana Funer al Home, Fostoria, the Rev. Terry McBeath officiating. Burial will be in F ountain Cemetery, Fostoria.

Visitation will be held an hour before services Friday at the funeral hom e.

Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
