Russell Paul Doyle, 75, of Monaca, passed away Wednesday, February 17, 2010, in Rochester Manor.

Born September 10, 1934, in Rochester, he was the last surviving son of the late Charles and Alice Elizabeth (Grafton) Doyle. A member of American Flint & Glass Workers Union Local # 512, Russ retired after 44 years of service in the shipping department of Anchor Hocking Specialty Glass Co. (formerly Phoenix Glass). Following his retirement he and his wife, Carol, delivered the Beaver County Times for eight years. Russ was an avid Steelers fan and enjoyed league bowling.

He leaves to mourn his loss his loving wife of 52 years, the former Carol Anne Clark; two sons, Harry Thomas Doyle and his wife, Dolores, of Crescent, PA and Russell P. Doyle, Jr. and his fiancee, Amy Collins, of Columbus, IN; a daughter, Paula Anne Doyle, at home; three granddaughters, Christina Natalie Doyle of Columbus, and Brittany and Lauren Doyle of Crescent, and numerous nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews and great-great-nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Russ was preceded in death by five brothers and two sisters.

Friends will be received today from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. and Saturday from 2 to 4 and 6 p.m. until the time of service at 7 p.m. in the SIMPSON FUNERAL & CREMATION SERVICES, 1119 Washington Ave., Monaca, (724-728-4000). Rev. Keith R. Black, pastor of the Raccoon United Presbyterian Church, Hopewell Township, officating.
