- LYONS — Roy F. Baldwin, 71, a retired farmer and life time resident of Rice County, died suddenly of heart failure at 12:15 a.m. Saturday at Rice County District Hospital.
Born Feb. 29, 1892 north of Lyons, he married Maude Keesling May 1O, 1917. She died Feb. 18, 1918. On July 5, 1924 he married Iva Mae Richards, who died March 8, 1955. Member: Knights of Pythias Lodge; l.O.O.F. of Lyons; Hutchinson Eagles Lodge. Survivors: a sister, Mrs. Ruth Jilka, Lyons; a brother, Ray, Lyons. Funeral: 2 p.m. Monday, Crawford-Miller Mortuary, Rev. Stanley Tyner; Burial: Lyons Cemetery; Call: 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday.
