Grandma Rose's birth certificate lists Pasqua Romi ta as her grandmother. When she was married, Fr. Alberto Romita, performed the service. Was Alberto an Uncle?

 Per Aunt Esther, her grandmother, Pasqua Romita (Salvatore's mother), t aught Rosa how to sew, as Sabina had a sewing business.

 Family moved to America in 1920: According to Aunt Esther, Grandma Rose was put in "steerage" (down below deck in somewhat 

of a quarantine) because one of the kids was sick.  Grandpa would bring things to her from a different part of the ship.  It must have been a very difficult trip for Grandma, taking care of Giuseppe
who was 4 yrs old, Mary at 2 yrs, Teresa at 1yr, and pregnant with Esther!

 She became a US citizen on February 28, 1940.  Her address at the time was 1028Trumbull, Chicago.
