Roman E Wasserman Father of Tiffin resident Roman E Wasserman, 83, of CR 41, Helena, died Monday morning, April 19, 19 99, in the Toledo Hospital. He was born in Ballville Twp Fremont, May 9, 1915, to Hugo and Mary (Mille r) Wasserman. On May 30, 1940, in St. Joseph Church, Tiffin, he married Ma rgaret Tiell. She survives. Other survivors include: six daughters, Helen Nieset of Elyria, Alice Rein eck of Gibsonburg, Rose Boes of Upper Sandusky, Rita Nieset of Holland, Ca rolyn Breidenbach of Tiffin and Marilyn Dantuono of Findlay; four sons, Vi ncent and Thomas L Wasserman, both of Helena, Dennis of Clyde and Stanl ey of Fremont; a brother, Zeno Wasserman of Burgoon; 37 grandchildren, fi ve great-grandchildren and two step-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Brother Norbert Wasserman, CPP S, and Donald Wasserman; and a sister, Alma Miller. Mr. Wasserman, a carpenter, also was a sexton of St. Mary's Cemetery, Mill ersville for 25 years. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Millersville, its Holy Na me Society and the Farm Bureau. He enjoyed woodcutting. A funeral Mass will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday in St. Mary's Catholic Churc h, Millersville. Interment will be in the parish cemetery. Visitation at the Nopper-Veh Funeral Home, Gibsonburg, is 7-9 p.m. today a nd 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday. The Rosary will be recited at 8:30 p.m. tod ay and a Christian Wake service will be at 8:30 p.m. Wednesday at the fune ral home. Memorials may be made to the church or the Sandusky CO Food Pantry. |
