    In the family of "Robert de Montalt, seneschal of Chester ..." is listed "Roger de Montalt, seneschal of Chester, and justice of Chester, 1247, 58, 59; died 1260, 44 Hen. III" who married "Cecilia, fourth daughter of William de Albeney, earl of Arundel, (by Matilda, sister and co-heiress of Randle Blundeville, earl of Chester and Lincoln) and finally coheiress by the decease of her brothers s. p."

    Note that Wikipedia indicates that Cecilia's father married Mabel, a different sister of Randle (Ranulf de) Blundeville.

    I believe that Ormerod has confused two Rogers and that this Roger was the grandson of Robert - see notes on his probable father Roger (the generation in between).
