VIDALIA -- Robert Toombs Tullis, 80, died March 27 at home.

He was born in Lincoln County and lived in the Atlanta area before moving to Vidalia. He was a maintenance technician with Greyhound with 35 years before retiring. He was an Army veteran and a member of Vidalia Church of God.

SURVIVORS: his wife, Lola Mae Tullis of Vidalia; a sister, Fannie Kale Rowland of Augusta; and several nieces and nephews.

VISITATION: 7-9 p.m. today at Murchison Funeral Home.

SERVICE: 11 a.m. Saturday at Vidalia Church of God, burial in North Thompson Cemetery.
