Bob was involved in a single car accident when he was nineteen and suffered severe head injuries. His death stemmed from those injuries, although he lived for years after the accident happened. After the accident, Bob could not talk but could still make himself understood, especially to those who knew him well. His dad recalls receiving a phone call from staff at the hospital asking him to talk to Bob on the phone....Bob was upset and was wanting to talk to his Dad....Murray could understand Bob's concerns and was able to calm him down. Bob never lost his sense of humor and managed to "accidentally" have his baby sister Vicky tumble into his bed on occasion when she came to the hospital for visits.
