Theorizes that Robert is actually Alexander Pixley, son of William of Hadley, by an unknown first wife -- that Alexander was placed in another family after his mother died, that he was rejected by his family and went off to fight in Nova Scotia in 1710, then ran off in 1711, showing up in Dighton with name Robert when he marries in 1717.
