Cash on 8 May 1861.[4] During the Civil War, Robert registered for the draft on 8 Jun 1863[3] and was listed in the Rockcastle County, Kentucky Militia in 1875.Citation needed Robert appears on every US Census taken in Rockcastle County from 1850 to 1910. Robert died on 25 Feb 1915. His cause of death reads, "Found dead in bed. Had lagrippe but had no medical aid." "La Grippe" was a term used for influenza.[6] The location of his grave is unknown. His death certificate states that he was buried at Poplar Grove Cemetery on 26 Feb 1915, but there is no headstone there for him. References
