  • Robert M. "Bob" Henderson, 92, of Madisonville died at 3:50 a.m. Friday, Sept 15, 1995, at Senior Citizens Nursing Home.

Born Jan 28, 1903, in McLean County, he was the son of the late James Henderson and Mattie Kittinger Henderson.He was retired from the New Company Coal Mines and was a member of U.M.W.A. and the Greater Lighthouse Pentecostal Church.

He is survived by his wife, Martha Hendricks Henderson; three daughters, Bonnie Henderson Wiles and Gertie Jones, both of Madisonville, and Phyllis Ann Gearhart of Portage, Ind.; eight grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren, and 9 great-great grandchildren.

Services will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Barnett-Strother Funeral Home with Rev. Ronnie Hendricks and Bro. Bobby Alvey officiating,, Bural will be in Briar Creek Cemetery in Muhlenberg County, Kentucky

Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today and after 8 a.m. Sunday at the funeral home. ---
