    1731 'Feb: 11 Robert Butt Son of William Butt and Susan his Wife was Bor[n]. Baptized the 15th'

    From the placement of the entry at the end of the year 1731, the year is clearly 1731/32. This means that his brother William was born a scant 10 1/2 months later (not so implausible if Robert died in March, as indicated but for which a source couldn't easily be found).

    It is worth noting that there appear to be no entries in the parish register between Jan 1729/30 and April 1731, suggesting a lack of clergy during that time. This presents the possibility that the birth was reported late without indicating the year, but there is no reason to assume so.
