In a deed, dated 30 Jun 1669, Robert received considerable good land from his father-in-law. One of these properties, known as the Sparrow House on Summer Street in Plymouth, Ma., still stands today. It is owned by the Preservation Society. Part of the home is used as a pottery shop and the rest of the home is open to the public for viewing. It is one of the oldest standing homes in Plymouth, Massachusetts

    "The original will of Robert Barrow is on file in the Plymouth Probate Office. It is dated Dec. 9,1707, and signed T the mark of Robert Barrow. It gives his wife Lydia, his dwelling house and lands pertaining thereto, 2 cows, 18 sheep, household goods, gun and sword. He mentions by name, two only of his sons, Robert and Thomas, giving them certain lands in a distant part of the town. A codicil is added, stating that he makes no mention of his children by his first wife because they had already received their poreions of his estate. 'And as to Elisha and my daughters by my second wife, have given considerable part of rny estate to her her to be disposed of to them as she shall see cause,' He appointed his wife Lydia executor. The will was probated Dec. 19, 1707, before Nathaniel Thomas, Judge.

    Among the papers relating to the estate of Robert Barrow, now on file in the probate office is one of which following is a copy:—

    Know all men by these presents that are George Barrows, Adam Wrights, and Mehitable his wife, children of our honored father Robert Barrow, late of Plymouth deceased, have received of our motherinlaw Lydia Barrow, executor of the will of our said father, all our part and portion of our said father’s estate, both real and personal and we discharge our said motherinlaw Lydia Barrow, by these
    presents.

    June 26, 1717,
