    John Riley Reggi, age 90, went to be with the Lord on January 30, 2014.

    Born on June 14, 1923 to the late John and Ella Reggi; Riley was a prominent member of Stanaford, WV. He proudly joined the 4th Marine Division serving his country in World War II. After the war, riley returned to Stanaford #2 mine. He then worked at the Greenbrier Dairy until retirement. A man of great faith and strong testimony, Riley was known by friends and family as a true and faithful man of God. He served as a Sunday school teacher and Deacon for many years at Stanaford Road Baptist Church and also at Piney View Bible Church.

    In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by five sisters and one half brother.
    He is survived by his wife, June Elizabeth (Reed) Reggi and his children, John Dougal and Ramona Reggi, Dwight and Jackie Reggi, Randy Reggi, Linda (Reggi) Scott, Brenda Reggi, Tony and Jennifer Reggi, Rob and Jennifer (Reggi) Hogan, and Brian and Emiliee (Reggi) Helton; 18 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, and his brother, Johnny and Hilda Reggi of Sebring, OH.

    A celebration of Riley's life will be conducted at 1pm Wednesday, February 5, 2014 at the Blue Ridge Funeral Home Chapel in Prosperity with Pastor Cecil Smith officiating. Interment will follow at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens in Prosperity.

    Grandsons will have the honor of serving as pallbearers.

    Visitation will be held from 6-8pm Tuesday at Blue Ridge Funeral Home.
