'RICHARD "WARREN otherwysse called WALLER", whose origin was probably at Long Stowe, was born about 1501 and resided at Bassingbourn. His will was written and probated in 1557. His wife Alice, who was alive when he made his will, was almost undoubtedly surnamed Jenway or Jenawaye.'
