In the name of God amen I Richard TUCKE of Broadhenton in the county of Wilts, yeoman, being sicke of bodie but of perfect memory thanks be unto God do make and ordaine this my last will and testament in mannor and forme following. First I give and bequeath my soule to almighty God and my bodie to be buried in the church yard of Broadhenton. Item I give and bequeath to my daughter Anne fortie pounds to be paid unto her when she shall accomplish the age of foure and twenty years. Item I give unto Richard my sonne a yoke of the best oxen and all the ploughs harness reserving the use of the said ploughs and harness unto my wife while she hath use for it and the said yoke of oxen or the price of them he shall have when he shall accomplish the age of foure and twenty years and I give unto my said son all the bed steads in the house with the table board in the hall, the greater brass pot reserving the use of it unto my wife whilst she have use for it. Item I give unto my daughter Katherine's child that she know goes with child withall if it please god that it does live and do well two sheep. Item I give unto my cousin John TUCKE a sheep. I give unto the poor of the parish foure schillings. Item I give unto my wife all the rest of my goods moveable or unmoveable. Making her my hole and sole executrix to receive and pay my debts and I make Thomas WASTLIN? Of Wood ...and my brother John TUCKE my trustees giving them twelve pence a piece in the presence of Adrian FRYE and John TUCKE the younger.
