"1. Richard Hassand of Thorganbye, co. Lincoln, England, born about 1500-1510, died about 1544; married Agnes _____. He may be the 'Richerd Hasand' mentioned in the will of John Cooke of Cadney, co. Lincoln, 17 Jan. 1526 [Consistory Court of Lincoln, 1520-31, fo. 75.]
His will reads as follows [ibid., 1543-6, fo. 389]:
