Richard Humphrey Foot was baptised on 14th January 1784 at Bere Ferrers in Devon, son of Elizabeth Foot, formerly Drake, and her husband Christopher Foot. Sadly Richard died when he was only one year old, being buried on 5th February 1785. His parents named their next son Richard Humphrey Foot in 1789.
