  3. Source:Daniels, Nathan Hagar. Descendants of Henry Travers of London, England and Newbury, Massachusetts, U.S.A, p. 61, says this person is the Richard McDaniels was born in Roxbury 8 Oct 1760 to Richard McDaniel and Mrs. Elizabeth Wilkie his wife. Even allowing for the apparent switch from McDaniels to Daniels during his life, this does not mesh well with the records found [Richard McDaniels m. 1757 Elizabeth Davis, Richard McDonald (wrong name?) m. 1762 (after alleged birth date) Elizabeth Wilkie, Richard McDaniel s/o Richard bp. 1763 (in Stoughton where Richard McDonald lived, not Roxbury), etc.], and this source has been ignored pending further research.
