A search of the International Genealogical Index (IGI) reveals that Agnes CARSON was born to Robert CARSON and Mary (nee SPENCE) on 29th December 1834 at Penninghame, Wigtown, Scotland [8] . Further, Mary Jane CARSON was also born to Robert CARSON and Mary (nee SPENCE) on 20th January 1829 at Penninghame, Wigtown, Scotand [9] .
The IGI also contains a listing of the following marriages [10] :
Mary Jane CARSON on 21st September 1849 at Penninghame, Wigtown, Scotland to William CARLIES.
