He, with Richard Holmes, bought the house lot and rights thereto pertaining, of Thomas Harris, 1644 (Essex Deeds, 1 Ips.:152) … He was buried 16 : 12 mo. (Feb.) 1647. His will, dated 15 : last (12) mo. 1647, mentions as legatees, "wife Edna; son Joseph; Brother James Baly; nephew John Baly; Thomas Palmer; the poore of the Towne"; also mentions "Michel Hobkinson; Mr. Rogers, Ipswich, and Mr Johnson: (On file Salem, Vol. 1:98).
