Hannah Graves (253) was born in 1742 (or about 1736), and died 29 Sept. 1807 at age 71. She married Reuben Wright of Northfield, Mass. on 22 June 1757. He was born in 1733, and died 11 Sept. 1807 at age 74. They were both buried in Northfield Cem. Their tombstone inscriptions read (according to Northfield History, p. 591): "In memory of Mr. Reuben Wright, who died 11 Sept. 1807 at 74." "Mrs. Hannah Wright, consort of Mr. Reuben Wright, died 29 Sep. 1807 at 71."
According to tradition, Reuben Wright was a daring, go-ahead man, and noted as a furious rider. He would never break his horse from a gallop when lighting his pipe with steel and flint.
