Reuben Hall of Ashfield, Hampshire County by Carole Phipps Feingold of Dewey, Arizona Nov 2015 REUBEN HALL, son of David and Tamsen (Sears) Hall, was born in Yarmouth, Barnstable County, Massachusetts, on 5 April 1747[2] or 16 April 1747 according to New Style.[3] He died of consumption in Ashfield, Franklin County, Massachusetts, on 4 April 1821 aged 70, and was buried there in Hill Cemetery.[4]
    Reuben Hall and SARAH HOWES, both of “Yearmouth,” on 10 June 1774 entered their intentions to marry,[5] and their marriage was solemnized by Rev. Nathan Stone on 1 August 1775.[6] Sarah was born in Yarmouth on 18 October 1749, the daughter of Thomas and Deborah (Sears) Howes,[7] and first cousin twice removed to Reuben’s mother[8] Her gravestone says she was born 27 October 1749, converted (approximately) to New Style.[9] Sarah died on 10 November 1817, and was buried with her husband Reuben in Hill Cemetery.[11]
