    Remington Peck Dies

The Clinic is saddened by the death of Mr. Remington Peck on March 7. Mr. Peck came to the clinic as Credit Manager on January 1, 1934, at which time the economic depression was reaching its worst point. His efforts were of great importance in bringing the institution through this very trying period. He was appointed Treasurer of the Foundation in August, 1942 and held this office until his retirement on July 1, 1952.
Those who knew Mr. Peck recognized his integrity, industry and loyalty to the institution as well as his large measure of good common sense. He made a real contribution to the Cleveland Clinic and will be missed by his many friends here.
  10. The Clinic Newsletter lists his retirement as 1 July 1952. His obit says he retired in 1953. I suspect that he remained on somewhat in consulting and advisory activities although he had retired as Treasurer, and that both dates are essentially correct.
