Rebecca Comegys is found in the 1820 & 1830 Dover, Kent Co DE census. Living with her a one female born c 1805 who is probably Sally Stout who married Dr H L Adams. In the 1850 census Rebecca is living with Dr Lesin H Adams and his wife Sally in Kent Co DE. In the 1860 Census Rebecca is in the 5th district Cecil County MD living with Dr H L Adams and his wife Sally S.

In the 1850 census Rebecca was living with Dr H L Adams. Interestingly, Cornelius Comegys of Caroline County [UC11] was also married to an Adams of about the same age as Dr H L Adams.

Rebecca widow of John Comegys, who had died in service of his country following the war of 1812, asked to be made guardian of her son Albert. A Jacob Stort? provided security.
