    Know all men by these presents that we Charles Ruble & Rebecca Ruble his wife, & Philip D. Taylor & Catherine Taylor his wife, William H. Darland & Sarah A. Darland his wife, Lambert Darland & Sarah J Darland his wife, John Darland & Martha Darland his wife, Joe. Barnes & Mary J. Barnes his wife, Abraham Darland & Louisa J Darland his wife, in consideration of thrity-one hundred dollars iin hand paid by David Bruin of Parke County & State of Indiana, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, do here sell & convey unto the said Daniel Bruin, the following described premises situated in the County & State aforesaid, viz.; The West half of the North East quarter of Section twelve, town. Sixteen North of range seven west, Also the South East fourth of the North west fourth of Sec. twelve, town. Sixteen North of range seven West; Also commencing in the South West corner of the North East half quar. of Section twelve, town. Sixteen North. of range seven West, thence east to the road leading from Bruin's Cross Roads to the Narrows of Sugar Creek thence along said road to the west boundary line of said tract of land, thence to the beginning corner, be the (10 acres) same more or less, together with all the privileges & appurtenances thereunto belonging, & we do hereby covenant with the said Daniel Bruin, that we are lawfully seized of said premises, that they are free from incumbrances, that we have good right & lawful authority to sell the same , & we do hereby covenant and warrant & deend the said premises against the lawful claims of all persons whomsoever.
    In witness - we have hereunto set our hands & seals this 8th day of November A.D. 1858
