    "Raymond C. McIver - Raymond C. McIver of 4606 Meadowood Road, for many years manager of a Dallas business college, died Friday night in a Dallas hospital after a brief illness. His father, Ed W. McIver, died Friday afternoon in a Corsicana convalescent home. Born in Midway, Navarro County, Mr. McIver practiced law in Dallas after graduation from the University of Texas. He later became manager of the Metropolitan Business College here. Mr. McIver was a member of Grace Methodist Church. He was a 32d degree Mason and a veteran of World War I. He was president of the Texas Mineral Society in 1945. Surviving are his wife; a brother, J. Tyson McIver of Dallas, and a sister, Mrs. Athol D. Belt of Corsicana. Funeral services will be held at 3:30 p.m. Monday in the Sparkman-Brand Funeral Cahpel,2115 Ross with Dr. Robert M. Walker officiating. Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Paul B. Horton, Alphonso Ragland III, Frank G. Harmon, W. Harlan Johnston, L.R. Hogg and Otis Dozier.""
