Holey, 85, of rural LeCenter, died Friday, June 4, 1999, at Central Health Care Center, LeCenter. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, Montgomery, with the Rev. George Grafsky officiating. Burial will be at St. John Catholic Cemetery, Montgomery. Visitation is scheduled for 3 - 9 p.m. today at the Schoenbauer Funeral Home, Montgomery. Raymond A. Holey, the son of Jacob C. and Louise A. Holey, was born Oct. 25, 1913, in Montgomery Township, LeSueur County. He attended country school near LeCenter, then farmed his family's land in Montgomery Township. The land has been in the family since 1903. He married Anna Kotek in 1939 at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, Montgomery. He is survived by two grandsons, John Jindra of Faribault, and Tom (and Lori) Jindra of LeCenter; and two great-grandsons, Christopher and Michael Jindra. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Anna Albina Holey; a son, Ronald Holey at birth; a daughter, Marion (and George) Jindra; and a grandson. |
