    He was a husbandman in his will and in parish records. His son John m Elizabeth Buckminster. On 23 May 1709, John Singletary [son of Nathaniel and grandson of Richard] who was b 1675 in Haverhill, Mass., bought land in Sutton, Mass. from Joseph Buckminster, possibly a relative.
