Seventh-day Baptist Cemetery "The Descendants of Robert Burdick of Rhode Island"; by Nellie W. Johnson; The Syracuse Typesetting Co., Syracuse, NY; 1937, p60. Prudence Whitford was a member of the Hopkinton Sabbatarian Church in 1768. Her husband lived in Hopkinton R. I., and Stonington, Conn. In 1780 they removed to Rensselaer Co., NY and settled in the north part of Berlin on a farm later occupied by James Ward.
