In Petersburg, Rensselaer Co., N. Y., at his residence on Potter Hill, March 21st, 1868, of bilious fever, Mr. Potter Kenyon, aged 89 years. The name of this aged brother will be remembered by many as one long identified with the little church in Petersburg. A native of Rhode Island, he moved in early life to the place where he spent his days, and, under the labors of Eld. Satterlee, experienced a change of heart, and united with the Berlin church fifty-six years ago. He was one of the number who were organized into the Petersburg church. He lived to see all his children converted to God, and one of them an honorable minister of Jesus. After a brief illness, he 'died in the faith,' having 'finished his course with joy,' and was gathered with his fathers. His funeral was held in the old meeting-house in Petersburg March 23d, and was attended by a long concourse of his friends and townsmen. J. S.
