Bilious fever and diarrhea, acquired near Chain Bridge or Camp Advance VA. Sprained lt. ankle Jun 1862 on the peninsular campaign at VA. From the time of leaving the service, suffered from liver and stomach trouble, attended at times with severe headaches and constipation, followed by piles. Rheumatic fever, resulting in heart trouble.
