  4. ↑ Both the 1880 and 1900 censuses indicate that she was born in about 1855. However, that would have put her age at 14 when she married. Most likely she understated her age in the census records, but my how much is unknown. She might be the Pheobe Pardy, age 9, in the 1860 census (although the initial is different from her marriage record).
