    Phinehas Sargent, s/o Jonathan Sargent and Deborah Richardson, b. 1746, m. (1) 1766 Mary Edson of Simsbury, Conn., m. (2) 1772 Abigail Dunbar.

  3.   Since his son died in 1793, Phineas would appear to be the only person who could be the "Phinehas Sargeant of Leicester" who married 1795 Mary/Polly/Molly Kingsbury of Oxford. But no death date for his previous wife, or him, is found, and there are several Mary Kingsbury's of various ages in Oxford, so it is difficult to pinpoint any evidence to support this. The marriage is not mentioned in Washburn or in Vinton's Richardson Memorial, which give the other two marriages.
