Miscellaneous Shower

A miscellaneous shower was given Mr. and Mrs. Guy WILSON Friday evening at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Phillip AUBEL by the people of Cokesbury. This was Mr. WILSON's former home. This is the third shower Mr. and Mrs. WILSON have been tendered. Those present were Mr. and Mrs. Harry PHILHOWER, Misses Evelyn, Ruth, Helen and Elizabeth Ann PHILHOWER, Mr. and Mrs. Wm. PHILHOWER, Hezekiah PHILHOWER, Mr. and Mrs. Frank COX, Ronald COX, Mr. and Mrs. Wm. FARLEY, Mrs. Carrie SUTTON, Mrs. Grace LAMBERT, Fred, Harvey and Ina SUTTON, Mrs. J.C. HOFFMAN, John and Lenora HACHTMANN, Thomas RILEY, Preston APGAR, Rolland TEETS, Mr. and Mrs. Walter LANCE, Walter LANCE, Jr., Elizabeth LANCE, Mr. and Mrs. Howard SUTTON, Charles and Lester SUTTON, Doris and Alma SUTTON, Harry Sutton Jr., Paul PHILHOWER, Ethel EICK, Mr. HOCKENBURY and friend, Mr. and Mrs. George CROTSLEY and Mr. and Mrs. Phillip AUBEL.

Mr. and Mrs. WILSON received many gifts. Refreshments were served. Paul PHILHOWER and Mr. HOCKENBURY played guitars and sang. Hezekiah PHILHOWER played the piano. N2

Obituary

Philip AUBEL, 65, died Tuesday (February 2, 1937) in his home on Califon-Fairmount road, after an illness of several weeks.

Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Hannah Apgar AUBEL, one daughter, Mrs. George CROTSLEY; one grand-daughter, Mrs. Guy WILSON; two great grandchildren.

Philip AUBEL

Philip AUBEL, 65, a retired farmer, died Tuesday at his home at Fairmount after an illness of several weeks. He was born at Fairmount, a son of the late George and Sarah AUBEL. He has resided all his life within a short distance of his birthplace.

He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Hannah A. AUBEL; one daughter, Mrs. George CROTSLEY; one granddaughter, Mrs. Guy WILSON, and two great-grandchildren.

Funeral services wil be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at his late residence on the Califon-Fairmount road. Rev. Frank E. DePUE, pastor of Fairmount Presbyterian church, will officiate and burial will be in the Fairmount Methodist cemetery. N1

The will of Philip AUBLE of Tewksbury Township, who died two weeks ago, gives the trustees of the Fairmount Rural Cemetery the sum of $100 to be deposited in a bank and the proceeds used for the upkeep of the plot of Mr. and Mrs. Philip AUBLE. It bequeaths all property, both real and personal, to his wife, Mrs. Hannah AUBLE, during the term of her life. After her death, one-half of the estate is to go to his daughter, Elizabeth M. CROTSLEY, or her heirs. After the death of Mrs. AUBLE, one quarter of the estate is to go to Mildred WILSON, or her heirs. After the death of Mrs. AUBLE, one-eighth is to go to a grandson, Guy Philip WILSON, and one-eighth to a grandson, William H. WILSON. In the event that Mrs. CROTSLEY is not living at the time of Mrs. AUBEL's death, one-half is to go to Mrs. WILSON, and one quarter to each grandson.It stipulates that the granddaughter, Mrs. WILSON, has the option of purchasing the house and lot where she now resides when she becomes 21 years of ! age for the sum of $3500, to be paid in cash or the amount to be deducted from her share of the estate. The will was dated December 8, 1936 and appointed George CROTSLEY and Guy H. WILSON executors. Witnesses were Elston BEATY and Thomas M. NEIGH of Califon. N3
