"First of all I want to say I was in Tarashcha's library in January and results were negative because they have only the names of thoese [sic] people who was born after so called October Revolusion [sic]. The rest were sent to central library in Kiev. It was rather difficult to get there and only in August I got there. Among all the Plesuks who could interest you are:
1. Plesuk Stepanida - 1853
2. Plesuk Mikola (Nick) - 1854
3. Plesuk Petro - 1857
4. Plesuk Olga - 1859"
[the list continues]
"The first four were born not far from Tarashcha in village Mala Berezyanka that's why I set them at the beginning of the list." ... "If your grandparents and Lena's were relatives it means that the first four are your grandfather Petro sisters and brother because they lived only seven km. from Dubivka were [sic] Lena's mother Domka was born."
"Lena" in this letter refers to Lena (Lesanko) Lalka.
Assuming the dates given are birth or christening dates, the author's tentative identification of Petro Plesuk and three of his siblings is potentially problematic because Petro would have been yet a child when his daughter Daisy was born in 1867, or he was christened some years after he was born.
