Clearly the gravestone was misread (one of the reasons why imageless memorials should be banned from Find a Grave), which accounts for the age at death not aligning with his birth. Also, Nahum's History of Bridgewater, p. 155, says his father's will, dated 1753, does not mention Peter, confirming a death before 1753.]

Being very Sick and Weake in body", dated 27 Apr 1750, proved 6 Aug 1750, gives all moveables to wife Sarha Edson, also improvement of all real estate while she remains widow, after which real estate to be divided between brothers and sisters. Wife to be executrix.
