It was voted to repair "cart bridge" near Peter Diar's" in 1754 in town me eting. He was elected constale 1759 but was excused. Total 325 pounds/18/8.72-512: Dower of widow Dorothy 13a. bonded E. at town way then running Nl y. on a stone wall between the orchard & pasture next to the stone brid ge till near the old garden including the garden, still on the wall to t he river, on the river N.E.ly to Esq. Nileses Damm, so called, then Wl y, on sd. damm to a tree, then across said damm, then turning and runni ng Ely. to a corner of the stone wall and on sd. wll Sly. on a wa ll on S. side the new corn field (included) etc. straight to the chimn ey of said house and across said house (E. part of the widow) to the fir st bound, and also 1/3 of old barn to be removed, yard room etc. & well pr ivileges to all etc. Apr. 11, 1772.72-510: Dorothy Dyer, widow, gardian of Sarah & Betty over 14, Abrah am & Molly under 14, childrn of Peter, & bonded with Uriah Thayer & Jonath an Thayer.
