It was voted to repair "cart bridge" near Peter Diar's" in 1754 in town me eting. He was elected constale 1759 but was excused. [Sprague # 1476]] By his father's will he inherited the major part of the property, includi ng the homestead. Peter was a thrifty man and increased his land holdin gs considerably [Frank A. Bates].
