Peter (Atte Wode) and wife Laurencia, obtained record title to lands in Sanderstead Paris h i n 1346, but continued to live in Woods Place, at least as last as 1359, when he was licen se d to maintain a chapel of his own at the Woods Place. The Atwoods gained a lease on the pe rpe tuity of the Church part of Sanderstead Manor about this time, since it is known they ha d it , but no record of the transaction is found. Peter built the Church at Sanderstand Cour t abou t 1380.

Peter is assumed to be a son of Geoffrey because of the connection they both had with "Hool e y House". It is claimed by some compliers Peter was a son of William and Juliana and a brot he r of Geoffrey, but because of his approximate date of birth it is assumed he would more li kel y be a grandson of William and Juliana.
