Paul A Nye

Paul A Nye, 84, 6111 W TR 174, Kansas OH, a lifelong resident of Kansa s, died at 5 p.m. Sunday Feb. 3, 2002, at his residence.

He was born May 19, 1917, in Kansas OH, to the late John F.and Frances (S chook) Nye. On Dec. 27, 1939, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Fremont, he m arried Anna Rose Wammes. She survives in Kansas.

Other survivors include: four daughters, Barbara Thaxton of Risingsun, Mr s. Jerry (Joanne) Widmer of Burgoon and Mrs. Carl (Mary) Myers and Mrs. Al vin (Kate) Reinhart, both of Kansas; 15 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchild ren, three step grandchildren, three step great-grandchildren and a great- great-grandson.

Also preceding him in death were three brothers, John, Joe and Carl Nye; t hree sisters, Mary Rose Frisch, Matilda Minich and Theresa Reinhart; and t wo granddaughters.

A U.S Navy veteran, Mr. Nye retired from Chrysler in Fostoria after 30 yea rs of employment. He was a member of St. James Catholic Church, Kansas.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday in the Hoening Funeral Hom e, Fostoria, with the Rev. Ted Miller officiating. Burial will be in St. M ary's Parish Cemetery, Millersville OH.

Visitation is 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. today at the Hoening Funeral Home, Fostoria .
