Facts and Events
Information supposedly taken from Milnor Ljungstedt's "County Court Note Book, Vol. 5, No. 1., 1927, indicates Patrick from Scotland came to Maryland in 1716, and that on July 12, 1721, he bought from James Caldwell, Jr., fifty acres of Pharsalia on South side of Kowastice Branch, in exchange for 1750 pounds of tobacco and 165 acres called "Flower Field", for 4400 pounds of tobacco. The records to support these claims have not been located.
