Obituary Mrs. William Gray Ova M. Gray, Daughter of George M. and Sarah M. Adair, was born June 19, 1893 in Cowgill, Missouri and died July 16, 1975 at Hill Crest Manor in Hamilton following a lengthy illness. Early in life she was baptized into the Church of Christ in the Pleasant Ridge Community. November 24, 1915 she was marroed tp William A. Gray of Cowgill. To this union two children were born, Lunn A. Gray, Cowgill, and Lois R. Jones, Richland, Wash. She spent her life in the neighborhood where she was born, with the exception of three years in which seh and Mr. Gray resided in Richland, Wash. She is survived by her husband and two children. One brother, E. V. Adair, Cowgill, a sister, Raeburn Jackson, Kansas City, five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one brother, Oren Adair. Her funeral was held Friday July 18 at 2 p.m. at the Hamilton Church of Christ with Brother Russell Bell officiating. Kermit Whitsell sang "Saved by Grace" and "How Great Thou Art". Pallbearers were Hal Hawks, Jason Hawks, Kermit Whitsell, Dale Shaffer, Bob Young and Claude Stephenson. Burial was in the Cowgill Cemetery. |
