EUGENE ALEXANDER _Eugene Alexander, 59, of Tuscola, Ill., formerly of Mortons Gap, died at 8:48 a.m. Monday in Regional Medical Center.

He was born in Hendricks County, Ind., Oct 24, 1920, the son of the late Charles and Edith Marsh Alexander.He was a member of the Second Baptist Church in Mortons Gap.He was a employee of the Ziegler Coal Company in Illinois, and he married Freda Hendricks in 1960.

Other survivors include three daughters, Beverly Jean Alveson, Huntsville, Ala., Rhonda Eileen Alexander, Tuscola, Ill., and Renee Alexander, Tuscola, Ill.; one brother Charles Alexander, Indianapolis, Ind.; two sisters, Mrs Al Sciaretti, Steiger, Ill., and Mrs. William Tuttle, Indianapolis, Ind.; step mother, Mrs. Effie Alexander, Indianapolis, Ind.

Services will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Second Baptist Church in Mortons Gap, with Rev. Cloyce Bruce and Rev. J. C. Gunn officiating. Burial will be in Old Salem Cemetery near Mortons Gap.

Friends May call at Reid-Walters Funeral Home after 3:30 p.m. today.
