Oliver W. Loughner, 67, of New Stanton, died Sunday, July 31, 2011, in Excela Westmoreland Hospital. He was born Sept. 21, 1943, in Greensburg, a son of the late Joseph S. Loughner and the late Sarah M. (Laughner) Loughner. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He enjoyed woodworking. He retired from DME of Youngwood. Surviving are his wife, Mary Lee (Ruffner) Loughner; and four children, Cynthia J. Baily and husband, F. Curtis, of New Stanton, Darlene M. Zimmerman and husband, Randal, of Kutztown, Leanne Loughner and companion, Pete Dasta, of New Stanton, and James R. Loughner and wife, Lisa, of Youngwood; seven grandchildren, Sean, Amanda, Karissa, Baylee, Noah, Christina and Lily; a brother, Alvin Loughner and wife, Donna, of Jeannette; and three sisters, Sarah Jane Sager, of Jeannette, Florence Mauro, of Jeannette, and Bertha Kern, of Youngwood. He was preceded in death by five brothers, Joseph, Thomas, John, George and Harold Loughner; and a sister, Emma Jean Knechtel.
