  6. ↑ Her birth year varies considerably (1872 to 1883), depending on which record is consulted. It seems unlikely she was born before 1880, as she is not in the 1880 census with her parents. Her age at first marriage is probably fairly reliable, as the tendency would be to exaggerate her age rather than understate it, since she was so young. Therefore, it seems plausible that she was born Mar 1883, which fits reasonably between the birth dates of her 2 closest siblings (Apr 1881 and Jun 1884).
  7. ↑ It is not clear why her death date is different in her Social Security record than on her gravestone, but it is possible they did not have the actual day and it was arbitrarily set to the middle of the month.
